“Paradise Found”, 24×36”, Acrylic on 2.5” Canvas, 2026.

Paradise has been found. Flying amongst the broad green leaves of the giant bird of paradise, a brilliant double bloom has been discovered from the heart of the plant by the tiger swallowtail butterfly. The plant has been here growing each month throughout the different seasons, the bloom has not and will not stay. Simultaneously, she finds refuge and provisions within the plant throughout her own lifecycle- from the leaves before her transformation as she grew, and off the double portion of nectar as she changed into her highest form. She discovers that she has not only found her paradise, but has been there the whole time.
